Beautiful ISKCON temple in Mayapur

Mayapur is one of the famous tourists spot and holy place of West Bengal. Here you will see lots of Temples with great architecture. Peoples of Mayapur also are very much helpful and devotee of lord Krishna. Nearby cities of Mayapur are Nabadwip, Krishnagar and Santipur. Famous Rash utsav of Santipur

Santipur is a city and a municipality in Nadia district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Here lots of pujas and festival held throughout the year but we all know that main festival of Santipur is "Raas(Rash)" which is thought to have begun by Mathuresh Goswami, the great grandson of Sri Advaita Acharya who was one of the main associates of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

Mainly Radha-Krishna is the main idol in this festival but you can see several idols in this festival, like Maa Kali, Mahadev, Santoshima, and many more. Basically two types of pujas you can see in Rash yatra. One is Gosai's home pujas which are years old and another type is Club's puja. More that 400 small and big puja organization celebrated this festival. This festival held 3 days long every year. Last day called procession day in this day every puja organization trust prepare there procession march with idols, models, lights etc.

Lots of visitors come to see this festival every year.
